Our department member Prof. Dr. Seda ARIKAN attended the Modern Language Association Congress held in New Orleans, USA. Seda ARIKAN, who attended the congress as the president of the Doris Lessing Society, chaired the Confinement and Freedom in Doris Lessing and Other Twentieth-Century World Writers session and presented her paper “Women and Visibility Through Post-Republican Turkish Modernity” at the session Comparative Visions of Modernity in Middle Eastern Languages.
